§ 2-9. Injuries incurred by policemen, firemen while rendering services

In case any policeman or fireman should be injured while rendering additional services as provided in section 2-8, he shall be deemed to be injured in the course of his employment and shall be entitled to receive compensation therefor, as provided by law.
