§ 15-46. Location, depth of pipes and conduits

All pipes and conduits laid parallel to the roadway shall be placed at least five (5) feet from the edge of the pavement or graded traveled roadway, unless otherwise authorized in writing by the city engineer. The shallowest portion of any pipeline or other facility shall be installed not less than thirty (30) inches below the roadway surface.
