§ 14-51. Appointment; roster; oath

Members of the reserve police force shall be appointed under the direction of the city manager. No person shall be deemed a member of the reserve police force until he has been registered as such in a roster to be kept by the chief of police and until he has taken his oath that he will observe and obey the Constitution of the United States, the constitution of this state and the laws of this nation, this state and this city and that he will carry out the duties of the members of the reserve police force to the best of his ability.
