§ 5-93. Purpose

  • The city council of the City of Costa Mesa finds and declared that regulation and control of the movement of buildings or structures over and through the city's streets are necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the public.

    Further, the city council finds and declares that when a building or structure so moved is to be relocated or placed on a fixed site within the corporate limits of the city that certain problems, conditions or requirements must be considered and dealt with and, therefore, regulations are hereby set forth to deal with same for the public health, safety and welfare.
