§ 2-245. Inspecting or duplicating records; fees

  • The provisions of the California Public Records Act (California Government Code Section 6250, et seq.) as enacted or hereafter amended, are hereby incorporated into this Code as if set forth in full.

    Subject to the exemptions set forth in said act, public records of the city are open to inspection at all times during normal working hours pursuant to procedures set forth in guidelines adopted by the city council by resolution.

    Copies of such records may be secured by persons upon payment of fees or deposit for fees as set forth by the city council by resolution, as adopted from time to time pursuant to these provisions.
