§ 5-100. Regulations for moving buildings or structures on streets

The director of public services shall promulgate regulations setting forth the standards and requirements necessary to implement the intent and purpose expressed herein. In drafting said regulations said director shall consult with the heads of other city departments involved. Once promulgated, said regulations shall control the standards, requirements and procedures for moving of buildings or structures on streets in the following:

(a) The internal processing of applications for said permits.

(b) The length of time allowed for any such move, inspections required, police escorts, equipment necessary and determination of the route used.

(c) The requirements for bonds, insurance, deposits, fees and other matters necessary to assure compliance with the provisions of this chapter and regulations promulgated.

(d) All other provisions necessary and proper to implement the purposes and intent of this chapter.
