§ 2-185.4. Claim deemed rejected if not acted upon within forty-five days

Any claim which has been duly presented in a timely fashion shall be deemed rejected on the forty-fifth (45th) day after its presentation unless, prior to that time, the claim has been accepted and paid, compromised, or rejected by the city council and written notice of such rejection has been sent to the claimant.
