§ 2-5. Bonds of clerk, treasurer and director of finance

Latest version.

The city clerk, the city treasurer and the director of finance shall severally execute bonds to the city for the faithful performance of their official duties in amounts to be established as follows:

(a) The city clerk, minimum five thousand dollars ($5,000.00).

(b) The city treasurer, minimum one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00).

(c) The director of finance, minimum one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00).

The principal amounts of the bonds as set out heretofore are minimum amounts and may be increased from time to time by resolution of the city council to amounts as recommended by the city attorney.
