§ 19-324. Term of franchise

Latest version.

A franchise granted under this chapter shall be for a term of five (5) years unless it is earlier terminated by the city in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and shall commence on the effective date set by city council in the franchise agreement. The franchise may be renewed for successive three (3) year terms by the franchisee on the same terms and conditions as set forth in this chapter.
