§ 15-2. Standard specifications adopted

  • (1) The latest edition of the "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction," written and promulgated by Southern California chapter, American Public Works Association and Southern California District, Associated General Contractors of California, Joint Cooperative Committee (more commonly referred to as the "green book") in conjunction with any subsequent revisions to the general provisions and the "City of Costa Mesa Standard Drawings for Street and Highways," recommended from time to time by the director of public services, are hereby adopted as the standard specifications of the city and shall hereafter apply to the construction of all public works in the city.

    (2) All streets shall be constructed, maintained and repaired in accordance with said standard specifications and the directions, provisions and requirements set forth and contained therein, together with the provisions of section 15-1 of this Code.

    (3) Two (2) copies of the standard specifications adopted shall be kept on file in the office of the city clerk for use and examination by the public.
