§ 14-8. Corrections officer

Latest version.

The city desires to participate in the standards and training program for non-sworn corrections officers employed by the city to be eligible for state aid from the corrections training fund. While receiving any State of California aid pursuant to article 3 of the California Penal Code (commencing with section 6040), the city will adhere to the standards for selection and training of corrections officers established by the California Board of Corrections.
